Product Description:
The gallic acid and water are added to the autoclave, and the decarboxylation reaction is carried out with stirring, which is followed by decolorization, filtration and evaporation to obtain the finished product. Vacuum sublimation method can be used for further refining. It is white powder.
Main Uses:
Determination of Bismuth and Antimony by gravimetric analysis; reducer of gold, silver, mercury salts, phosphomolybdic acid and phosphotungstic acid. In gas analysis, it is used for absorbing oxygen; in the determination of tantalum and niobium, it can be used for separating titanium, iron and aluminum. It is also used as local irritant.
